Signature Events
The Meggs Golf Classic
Our signature annual fundraising event, The Meggs Golf Classic, is held in April of each year. The event draws 144 golfers and generates gross revenues of $100,000 and net revenue of $$70,000-$80,000. The 2024 event is on April 8.
Bonus Competition: Since Daniel Meggs grew up playing Pine Lake and worked at Piper Glen, you can donate to The Meggs Foundation's SpotFund campaign to cast a vote for the team you think will win the competition. Stay tuned for the donation link to support your favorite team!
Meggs Bingo Night
Held every year in the fall, Meggs Bingo Night is typically attended by 100-200 supporters and raises $10,000-$15,000 annually.

Fork Cancer Dinner Event
A chef-driven dinner event hosted by Charlotte's Food and Beverage Social Club and Forever Oceans that benefits four local cancer non-profits. The Meggs Foundation was chosen as one of the four non-profits in 2023 and will be chosen again in 2024. The event will take place on September 7, 2024. Those interested will be able to sponsor or buy seats for the dinner. We received $12,500 as our share of the dinner's net revenues in 2023.
